Calculate Roulette Betting Units

Roulette Betting Calculator

When you pay a visit to the roulette table, you want to get the most from the game as possible with the money you have to play with. Therefore, I have created a Roulette calculator that will help you to determine the unit size that you should bet with depending on the size of your bankroll (the money you have to play with). There is also a 'safe' unit if you want to maximize the time spent at the table, and a 'high risk' unit if you want to go for bigger wins.

Just enter your bankroll to the nearest unit and click 'Calculate!'

What is a 'Unit'?

A betting 'unit' is a set amount that you bet with on each spin of the roulette wheel. A unit is a fixed constant that you stick with throughout a session to ensure that you can spend an optimum amount of time at the wheel whilst still giving yourself an opportunity to win a decent amount of money if you hit a lucky streak.

Finding your perfect betting unit.

The calculator above should go some way to giving you an idea of an ideal range of units that you should bet with at the roulette table. However, at the end of the day the amount that you decide to bet with on each spin is completely up to you. Some people will want to be cautious with their money and will be content with betting a relatively small amount, whereas others will seek the thrill and excitement that a potential big win can bring.

If you are the type of player that likes to bet big and go for the big win, you have to be careful with your betting to ensure that you do not lose more money than you are comfortable with. If you become nervous when the ball is in motion and you feel your heart sink every time you lose on a spin, you are betting with too much money.

If you are betting too highly, you should try and bring down your betting units as much as possible and keep them steady so that you do not get frustrated and bet too much when you hit an unlucky streak. Learn to enjoy the game whilst betting with smaller units and you will save yourself a lot of money in the long run. Remember that small wins are going to be a lot more enjoyable than big losses.

The perfect unit.

The perfect betting unit is one that maximizes the time you spend playing online roulette, whilst still giving you a rush of excitement on each spin. Finding the balance isn't always going to be easy, so it's a good idea to experiment a little to find an amount that you are comfortable with. Just be sure to stick with it as you play, as it can be very tempting to increase your bets from time to time, so be careful!
